Corinne had surgery on Jan. 4
th and stayed at the hospital for 5 days. We are praising God for protecting Corinne through the surgery and for guiding the surgeon in getting all of the cancer out of her body. The hospital stay was a little rough until Corinne's pain was managed, but once that happened, I think she may have actually enjoyed herself a bit!
Here is Corinne on day 5 of the hospital stay. She finally got to have a shower which she loved!
After not eating for 3 days, Corinne LOVED having a
Popsicle!
Nana and Papa brought Caleb for a visit. They were so happy to see each other!
Once she was feeling well
enough to sit up, we did a lot of art projects.
Corinne had lots of visitors- including her Aunt Amy and
cousin Jack. They brought her some fun gifts
including nail polish. She LOVED getting her toes painted. (she's sitting in a wagon)
