Fun at the park

Cornell

We took a trip to Iowa in the fall to see Cornell and meet up with Jennifer and Todd. Of course we had to snap some shots on the Cornell sign!

We went to the Pal for a hike and to see the beautiful colors!

It was a quick but fun trip!

5 years old

This little man turned 5 in September! We love him to pieces and feel so blessed to be his parents. At 5 Caleb....

* has such a big heart and shows compassion towards others daily!

*loves to play with his brother and sister. They will play for hours building forts, playing store, coloring, reading....

*has a little trouble keeping peace with Calvin at times. He loves to get a good reaction out of him...we're working on it! :)

*would never lay and hand on someone to harm them.

*loves to talk about God and his word and loves to lead our family in Prayer.

*is quickly getting good and reading writing and math and does a great job with first grade homeschool!

*is a HUGE blessing to our family!!

First week of homeschool

Caleb started first grade this week! His curriculum focuses on Bible history. He learned much of the history last year with Corinne, but you can never go over Bible history too much!
Corinne started second and will focus on American History. I'm so excited to re-learn everything I missed when I was in school!
Of course they do many other subjects, but much of curriculum is themed around history. We love it!!

Work boxes all ready to go for the first day of school.

Cal started pre-school but was sick for the first day. :(

Everyone had a great first week!
We feel so blessed that we can teach our own children!!

South Carolina

We went to Charleston South Carolina over spring break this year.

This was the first time to the ocean for all the kids so they were so excited!

The weather was much cooler than we were hoping of, so the kids had to bundle up.  They still loved the sand!

Glen's sister Gretchen and brother in law John Samuel live in Charleston, so they met up with us quite a bit.

While we were there we visited a huge air craft carrier that is docked at Patriot's Point.

We also had a great time exploring the historic down town area

Of course we filled our days with many other activities....I'm just not organized enough to list them all!
