S.S. Badger

After spending time in Lexington Michigan, we headed to Ludington Michigan to get on the "S.S. Badger Boat" (as Corinne called it) for a trip across lake Michigan. Since we were traveling to ND, we thought it would be easier, and more fun to go across the lake instead of around. We got on the boat at 8pm and didn't arrive in Wisconsin until around midnight. The boat was HUGE and had lots to keep us entertained including a playroom, cafe, bar, observation decks, museum, gift shop and more. We got a room so that the kids could sleep a bit too.

We passed this lighthouse as we left the port.

There was a man playing bagpipes on the roof of the boat.

We just left the port in this picture. The big ship in the picture is almost the same as the one we were riding on.

The ship had MANY cars on it, as well as semis and charter buses.

This is a semi backing onto the boat before we left the port.

Corinne had a great time on the boat and calls every boat she see now the "S.S. Badger Boat"
